The above map shows the majority of the 10.1 acres of real estate that encompass the city of Osage Beach. The lower south east part of this map shows
part of Lake of the Ozarks State Park. Osage Beach has but 1 major 5 lane highway that runs through the city all other roads run off highway 54 and
eventually dead end close to the water. Click on the - in the upper left corner 3 times and if you use your imagination one can see why at one time
Lake of the Ozarks was called the Dragon Lake. The main reason Lake of the Ozarks is a popular as it is can also clearly be seen from this map. All one
has to do is look at all the docks in the water. Most all other man made lakes not only in Missouri but surrounding states are owned by the Crops of
Engineers and individuals cannot own shoreline or any real estate close to the water. The water ways created by various dams in an out of state such
as Truman that is above Lake of the Ozarks do allow boaters for recreation, but once again individuals cannot own property close to the lake.
